... Linux beyond x86


Whatever you expect here, don't think you will find an article about Linux on the Commodore 64. Except on some 1st of April, maybe ;-)

After Commodore folded, several companies named Amiga followed to keep the Amiga series alive.
Unfortunately none of these companies has managed to develop hardware going beyond Commodore's heritage. The only models Amiga ever produced (1200 and 4000) had already been sold when Amiga still was Commodore.
Third party manufacturers had to developd expansions like PowerPC CPU boards.
