For 10 years, Apple has been the stronghold of non-x86 systems in the desktop market. By the end of 2005, the era of PowerPC based Macintosh systems ended. Starting in 2006, new Macintosh models have Intel's Core CPUs and will not be covered on this website.

Our Apple model list should be fairly complete. We still welcome information about your experience with specific systems.

We will not cover Apple's range of iPod products though word is out somebody put a Linux on them.
